To provide a little more context on what I’ve been up to, I’ll be showing some samples of what these crib sheets look like and the story they tell. If you want to know more or provide feedback, then let me know.
The Partial Acquisition
The story for this involves the conglomerate Widgets Ltd. looking to buy the anvil subdivision from Acme Inc. specifically to increase their footprint in the roadrunner capturing space to attract more coyotes (courtesy of everyone’s favorite Warner Bros. cartoons of old).
Here we cover three potential hot spots:
- Widgets Ltd.’s database is already at capacity and will have extreme difficulty accepting the new data (homage to a Tech Diligence scenario).
- To allow for migration of the Anvil unit, additional licenses must be procured by Widgets Ltd, with some potentially astronomical costs associated with it.
- There are just a couple of key people responsible for most of Anvil’s implementation work who will be key to make this a success. They may either be impossible to migrate with the acquisition, or very resource constrained.
You can pull a PDF copy of the crib sheet here.
